Easy Cycle Around Picturesque Reservoir to Test your eBiking Skills
Service Description
The perfect introduction to e-biking following a well-defined yet undulating cycle path around one of England’s largest reservoirs. Starting at the Knockerdown Inn the route enters Carsington Water passes the Visitor Centre and Krugal Stone, then meanders through managed woodlands with many opportunities to observe the water and its varied wildlife. Look out for wooden sculptures too. Crossing roads to visit the Peak District villages of Carsington (The Miners PH) and Hopton the route then feeds back to the lakeside. Perhaps visit the lovely Knockerdown Pub after your tour for a well deserved drink and something to eat. Difficulty - Beginners Green Tour Surface - Mostly paved and gravel, cycle paths Distance - 9.3 miles Time allocated - 1 hour 30 minutes Refreshment Stop Options – Visitor Centre & self service cafe' half way around. Knockerdown Inn available after tour. Transportation - Price includes us bringing the bikes to The Knockerdown Inn. Tour ref - 03

Cancellation Policy
Running Tours is our business so as a general rule we cannot accept last minute cancelation requests where we cannot easily re-book the date. If you need to change the date of your pre-booked tour we do ask for at least seven days notice so that we have the opportunity to re-book your slot. There is no additional charge for changing the date of your tour. If you give us less than 7 days notice and we cannot resell the slot we reserve the right to charge a 50% re-booking fee. We do not offer refunds on cancelled tours only the opportunity to re-book As a general rule we will not cancel any eBike tours based on the weather unless the conditions are so extreme they are not safe for cycling. We use the Met Office to monitor if any severe weather warnings are expected
