In our opinion refreshment stops are a critical part of any tour and we believe the right cafe, pub or shop will really put the finishing touches to any day out so we have made sure there are multiple refreshment options on every tour at the start, during and at the end (we have more than 100 options)

Miners Standard & Bank Top Cafe
Opening times can sometimes be an issue in the Peaks but we will guide you to sites like this which offer great home cooked food via cafe & pub from 7am to 8pm - something for everyone all day long

Extensive Menu, Open Fires & Cosy Dining Room
The Royal Oak
A traditional pub with log fires and a great food menu. Located just off some of the most popular cycle paths it is an ideal spot to stop for lunch or just a refreshment break

Chatsworth Stable Block
Another great thing about eBikes is that you can get to places without having to pay for car parking and this is a great example where you can ride up and enjoy a selection of different food outlets

Honesty Shop & Cafe
Throughout the Peak District we now have some lovely Honesty Shops & Cafes that have no staff but still offer hot drinks, ice cream, and local produce and most even have credit card terminals

Filling Station Cafe
Based at our Ambergate Cycling Hub inside the Great British Car Journey this is a great place to start of finish your tour. Ideal for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack or refreshment

Traditional Country Pub in Picturesque Village
Sycamore Inn
Many of the villages on our tours have a proper village pub and the Sycamore Inn is a wonderful example that now combines the village pub, popular restaurant and even the village shop

Great Options for Food & Drink On the Go
Hartington Village Store
This village store is the perfect place to stop or stock up on food for a picnic on your tour. It offers take away coffee, cold drinks & tasty food that can be consumed outside or put in your rucksack

Wood Fired Pizzas & Award Winning Beers
Thornbridge Tap Room
The perfect place to end your tour this unique venue is next door to the Thornbridge Brewery and offers 30+ beers and pizzas every day in a large beer hall and tap room

Secluded Pub / Hotel with Amazing Views
Lathkill Hotel
It is hard to better the views from this tranquil village pub. The perfect place to sit outside with a drink and take in the views or a great place to have lunch and enjoy the local hospitality

Treat Yourself with an Afternoon Tea
The Family Tree
This delightful tearoom is close to our Ambergate cycling hub and does great breakfasts, lunches & afternoon teas. You could start or end your tour here or just use for a mid tour refreshment stop

Old Smithy Cafe
There is nothing like a good breakfast to set you up for the day or even to help you refuel halfway through your tour. This cafe is always open and has a great choice. We know all the good cafes

Distillery Tasting Room
White Peak Distillery
Based on the same site as our Ambergate Cycling Hub this is a great place to end your tour as part of one of our multi activity tours. Sample their gins, rums and whiskeys and get a distillery tour

Red Lion Restaurant
Based at the Peak Edge Hotel (the start of several tours) this stylish & comfortable location offers laid-back all-day grazing. We will always find you locations that are open on your tour.

Amazing views with relaxing surroundings
Garden Room Bar & Restaurant
If you want a great view then we can provide that too. Based at Callow Hall our Ashbourne Cycling Hub the Garden Room boasts incredible views in unique setting perfect for a stop off, start or finish
