Wheel is spun to make sure running smoothly with no buckling or snagging and is checked to make sure It is tight & the quick-release lever is secure in the closed position

Our tyres have inner tubes filled with self repairing slime but after each ride we still double check them to make sure there are no serious defects and air pressure is correct

Chain is lubricated in 2 places before every ride. We also check that the gears are running smoothly & are properly adjusted

We check that your front wheel & stem do not move independently and are aligned..

Front and rear brakes are checked for wear and to make sure they are working properly and are correctly adjusted

Spokes are checked to make sure they are of equal tension and not loose. Each one is plucked to ensure the sound from each spoke is the same. They are repaired if needed

Our saddles feature a "seat dropper" so you can adjust during the ride but we will also check that it is properly anchored and clamped before each ride

We will spin the pedals to make sure they are turning freely and test that your cranks are on tight, rotate smoothly and don’t creak

Headsets are checked to see if there is any rocking or clicking and tightened if needed

Frame inspected for any cracks or damage. Both front and rear suspension also checked to make sure functioning correctly

Batteries are usually at 100% at the start of your tour and you can view battery usage during your tour. Battery health is constantly monitored to ensure you always have enough power for your tour
