Service Description

Our Chatsworth Estate Tour starts from the Ashford Hotel in the chocolate box village of Ashford in the Water. A quick explore of the village provides a look at Sheepswash Bridge and the stone pen. The route then takes lovely minor roads out to Thornbridge Hall. The Monsal Trail is then joined to take an easy & leisurely route out to Bakewell. From the old Railway Station minor roads climb up high onto the moor with 360 views. The road then descends to pass Pilsley and the Chatsworth Farm Shop before dropping into Chatsworth Estate. A coffee maybe at the Stable Block may provide a half way rest before a cycle tour of the Parkland Estate. It is then departing home via Baslow, Hassop Hall and Great Longstone. All of these picture perfect villages offer great opportunities for photographs as well as refreshment. Thornbridge Hall and Station are then past and it is then only a short retraced route back to the Ashford Hotel. Cancellation Policy

Running Tours is our business so as a general rule we cannot accept last minute cancelation requests where we cannot easily re-book the date. If you need to change the date of your pre-booked tour we do ask for at least seven days notice so that we have the opportunity to re-book your slot. There is no additional charge for changing the date of your tour. If you give us less than 7 days notice and we cannot resell the slot we reserve the right to charge a 50% re-booking fee. We do not offer refunds on cancelled tours only the opportunity to re-book As a general rule we will not cancel any eBike tours based on the weather unless the conditions are so extreme they are not safe for cycling. We use the Met Office to monitor if any severe weather warnings are expected
