The Winster Stanton eTrike Challenger
Take the eTrike on quiet country lanes around Winster then enjoy a challenging climb up to Stanton

Service Description
An enjoyable guided tour for those not comfortable on bikes who fancy trying out an eTrike but are happy to have a go climbing a few hills as well. The tour starts from our Winster hub and travels for a short distance along a minor road before turning north along a back lane towards the peaceful and remote village of Elton. Enjoy some lovely quiet downhill roads with amazing views as you travel towards Alport. The tour then passes to the west of Robin Hood's Stride and a short detour (on foot) could reveal a neolithic stone circle. Far reaching views look out over Harthill Moor and down towards Youlgreave. Before reaching Alport a small lane is joined which will eventually reveal Harthill Hall. A short length of main road then allows access to a minor road for a long and steady climb into Stanton in Peak. The eTrike will help you make the climb but you will still have to put a bit of effort in. Upon reaching the Flying Childers the tour is about ½ way complete The return journey takes a steady climb up Birchover Road into the pretty village of Birchover. If you have time take a slight detour to the Druid Inn and hear about the local Druids or follow the back lane to Winster to return to the Miners Standard.
