Service Description

A great full on day out for all action lovers combining a 20 mile eBike tour climbing both sides of the Derwent Valley with an exciting white water rafting experience down the River Derwent. From Ambergate you will be transorted to Matlock to enjoy a 4 km guided rafting adventure complete with fun Grade 2 rapids After your white water adventure you return to Ambergate and get time for lunch before departing down the canal towpath from our Ambergate hub then leaving it at Whatstandwell to climb to Crich and then onto Plaistow Green before turning west to Dethick. The route next falls steeply down into Lea Bridge where just beyond it rejoins the canal to Cromford. The return journey crosses the A6 Derby Road to travel west climbing trails and minor roads high onto Alderwasley Moor. Minor farm lanes and a steep ancient track (where more careful technical riding may be required) brings you back into Ambergate on the opposite side of the Derwent River. Cancellation Policy

Running Tours is our business so as a general rule we cannot accept last minute cancelation requests where we cannot easily re-book the date. If you need to change the date of your pre-booked tour we do ask for at least seven days notice so that we have the opportunity to re-book your slot. There is no additional charge for changing the date of your tour. If you give us less than 7 days notice and we cannot resell the slot we reserve the right to charge a 50% re-booking fee. We do not offer refunds on cancelled tours only the opportunity to re-book As a general rule we will not cancel any eBike tours based on the weather unless the conditions are so extreme they are not safe for cycling. We use the Met Office to monitor if any severe weather warnings are expected
