Service Description
The perfect way to try out an eTrike. This tour offers an easy ride through lovely countryside on minor roads, tracks and cycle lanes and includes our Derbyshire Food Picnic Hamper Our tour starts at the Winster Hub where you will collect your picnic for the journey which is easily transported in the eTrike rear luggage area which is also packed with chairs, rug, plates & cutlery . This tour allows plenty of time to choose your picnic spot whilst having fun on your eTrike The route then takes you out to Minninglow where a number of picnic tables could be utilised just beyond the car park. The High Peak Trail is then followed for a couple of miles before exiting down farming lanes and out to the furthest point of your journey. Country lanes are then taken with many opportunities for stops and photographs before the High Peak Trail is crossed and the route takes you below the neolothic tomb and barrows of Minninglow Hill. A few miles further and subject to the time of year you could choose to eat your picnic at the butterfly quarry. The route then passes though Aldwark where you may be lucky enough to find the local brewery open or just follow your route back to the Miners Standard for a well deserved beer there! Cancellation Policy
Running Tours is our business so as a general rule we cannot accept last minute cancelation requests where we cannot easily re-book the date. If you need to change the date of your pre-booked tour we do ask for at least seven days notice so that we have the opportunity to re-book your slot. There is no additional charge for changing the date of your tour. If you give us less than 7 days notice and we cannot resell the slot we reserve the right to charge a 50% re-booking fee. We do not offer refunds on cancelled tours only the opportunity to re-book As a general rule we will not cancel any eBike tours based on the weather unless the conditions are so extreme they are not safe for cycling. We use the Met Office to monitor if any severe weather warnings are expected
