It goes without saying that having an eBike designed for touring is the most important thing but there are also some key additional accessories that we think are important to enhance your touring experience
We provide most of these accessories like first aid kits, repair kits & locks as part of our eBike Touring Package and also sell them in our eCommerce shop
Detailed below are some other useful touring essentials that we use
Gloves & Helmets
Gloves are really useful for touring as they not only stop your hands getting cold but they also reduce vibration improving your comfort & improve handlebar grip. A good MIPS helmet (like the ones we provide) not only protects you but is comfortable for day long tours. We do have gloves available to buy on the day of your tour if needed)
Universal Mounting System for the Handlebars
Our universal mounting system for handlebars means you can quickly add or remove all sorts of useful accessories for navigation, safety, information or photography using the same ball mounted system. This are not standard on our tours unless you have purchased the smartphone update
Water, Security & Hydration
Water & hydration is also important and this water bottle holder is really useful as it has side access and a hidden compartment to add an Apple Air Tag for tracking plus we also have the recycled smaller PeakePedals that will fit in the smaller space available on some touring eBikes
Ride Support & Repair
Keeping your touring eBike well maintained and using products like slime filled inner tubes should mean you reduce the odds of having problems but we have found this instant repair aerosol and electronic mini pump are a really useful backup
Carrying Your Kit
Not having to use a rucksack and being able to carry everything you need is for us an essential part of touring and these MIK (Mounting is Key) accessories are great options for touring as they just click onto our rear racks and have plenty of capacity. We use both depending on the length of tour
